My Girl Romeo
Being a rabbit mommie for eight years has taught me plenty about rabbits. Their habits, their likes, their dislikes and how adorable and lovable they are. But I especially learned not to believe what you're told by the pet store sales person. In October 2010 I met my sweet Romeo at Jack's Pets. It was love at first sight. In a pet carousel I pulled her out and immediately the little love bug gave me kisses. Without a doubt I knew in that moment she would be mine. While I was purchasing all the necessary items for my new family member some ladies had picked her up and we're receiving kisses. I smile to myself because that little bunny was mine and going forward all the kisses would also be mine. But how did she become a he? Before I left the store I asked if she were a boy or girl. The clerk turned her over and said boy. Perfect, I thought because he had already stolen my heart so I aptly named him Romeo. ...
